About Rebecca

Hello! My name is Rebecca and I am currently a part-time graduate student in the environmental science field. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2016, where I pursued degrees in Wildlife Ecology and Spanish. Throughout high school and college, I spent summers working as a babysitter and swim teacher for children ages 2-12. Over the past six years while working as a wildlife biologist, I have frequently worked with children while leading educational programs and workshops (such as guided tours in National Parks and bird identification workshops in classroom and outdoor settings for K-12 student groups!) I also have experience coaching girls sports, including high school lacrosse and field hockey. When working with children, I approach every situation with kindness, fun energy, and patience. The safety and wellbeing of the children I am working with is always my first priority; I react quickly and calmly to respond to any predicaments.
