About Rebecca

I have been working with children in a professional capacity for over 10 years. I am a licensed elementary educator in DC with teaching experience in grades 1-3. After teaching, I was an elementary school vice principal for two years before moving into my current role as a reading specialist for a charter network in DC. I was a weeknight nanny for a family with 2 young children (ages 6 months and 2 years when I started) for a year and a half before they moved out of the area. Since they have moved, I am now hoping to support families on an as-needed basis with evening or weekend childcare. I am open to both recurring jobs and one-time jobs. I am not typically available during the work day as I do have my own full-time job. However, I am on summer vacation from June 16-August 16 and am available to provide daytime care during that period. I have my own reliable car, I adore children and I love pets.
