About Rebecca

As a teenager I cared for a 1-year-old, a 7-year-old, and a 12-year-old. I worked at a children's summer aquatic camp as a counselor three summer's in a row. I am currently part of the Boys and Girls Club of Tumwater. As part of the club, I spend one hour, one day a week with an 11-year-old girl. We do various activities together such as homework or even playing board games. My interests in working with children comes from being adopted and realizing how important your environment is and the relationships we have. These really impact a child's development and I feel very strongly about all children feeling cared for and safe.
