Paulette came into our lives during the child care crisis. We had placed ourselves on more than 8 waitlists at both family child care and center lists before our son was born. Nothing came through and Paulette did. Was it always perfect? Of course not. We're all humans with our own imperfect contexts, but the things that I am most grateful for in Paulette's care are 1) her up front and honest communication; 2) focusing on building positive and loving interactions with our kids; 3) frequently communicating about our child's development, observations, and suggestions on new activities through text messages and photos; and 4) her flexibility and willingness to learn more about our family and needs.
