About Olivia

As the older sibling, looking out and caring for younger siblings came naturally to me and was something I began to enjoy--eventually, once I grew up and wasn't annoyed that I had to babysit for my younger siblings! This would later lead to my current career path. I am currently a literacy tutor at an elementary school kiddos who are beginning and struggling readers. I love making kiddos laugh, reading stories with them, making up games, and helping them feel comfortable and at ease. My first (not sibling) babysitting job was as a 12-year-old caring for two children after school until their parents came home from work. I have been an infant nanny, toddler daycare worker, summer camp leader for pre-teens, and have babysat for friends and their recommendations. My ultimate goal is to have a parent feel at ease, as well as their kiddo, feeling comfortable with me as their caretaker. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
