About Nina

I love working with older adults. My first experience was with a good friend of mine whose husband had passed away and she had a great male neighbor who helped her out tremendously but she need some female companionship. I would come over after my am school bus route and help her with taking a shower, breakfast, doctors appts, cleaning, and shopping expeditions. I would also go over on the weekends and do things with her. Unfortunately she passed away in 2008. My next experience was with friend of my aunt. This woman was on 24hr oxygen due to lung problems. I would come sit with her while her daughters worked. I would make her meals, make sure she took her meds correctly, light house work, take her to hair and doctor appts. I also took her blood pressure and heart rate an kept correct records. Most important we became very good friends and I will cherish her wisdom forever. She unfortunately passed away in July 2015. I also am caregiver for my 86y/o mother.
