About Nikki

I'd describe my personality as savvy, creative, and honest. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, fun, and rewarding. I started working with kids when I was 14 years old; I babysat my baby cousin regularly and learned some very valuable skills in working with special needs babies and toddlers. I went on to nanny for several other families with a wide range of age groups through a babysitting-service, and grew my skills in working with older children and children with special needs. In my spare time, I like to crochet, play video games, and spend time with family. My skills include working with infants and toddlers (diapers don't scare me!), enforcing natural consequences, and following a more gentle and independence-encouraged approach to child care.
