Hello, My name is Nijé I am a Spelman College graduate, co'18, currently serving as a 3/4th grade math teacher and learning specialist. I am in my 3rd year of teaching, currently at KIPP NJ. I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. Teaching and caring for children is my truly my passion. Ranging from the ages of 16 to 21 I had served as both a babysitter and nanny both long term and short term positions. I have cared for newborns up to age 15, caring for multiple children at a time is no challenge for me, try teaching 25 kindergartens. I am willing to provide transportation, assist with homework/summer learning, provide extra curriculum activities, light house keeping, family cooking, and most importantly provide a safe, fun, loving environment for your child! Niji provided early morning care (6am) and early evening care for my 2 sons - 13 & 11 yrs. She got my oldest up & moving in the am - ensure he ate, brushed teeth & etc. Nije transported him to catch train to school, and did pick up post BB practice. She was terrific - the boys loved her. She was a life saver as I started a new job in NYC & hubby was away. I was able to start my new job with less stress as a result. She was polite, punctual and incredibly helpful. So sad she had to leave to head back to college! Wonderful young lady.
