About Carina

Hi, my name is Carina and I am a fourth year student at UPenn studying Mechanical Engineering. I am a caring, open-minded, and responsible individual with a passion for working with children. I started child care at age 14 and have accumulated several years of experience in both babysitting (ages 1 and above) and tutoring (grades kindergarten through 12th grade). I love working with kids because I find joy in learning and teaching. I'm looking for a job that allows me to create a fun and safe haven for kids. My approach is rooted in effective communication, ensuring that both children and parents feel comfortable and well-informed. With my background in babysitting and tutoring, I've honed my skills in communication, entertainment, and teaching. Moreover, my commitment to safety is backed by my previous lifeguard and CPR experience, giving parents peace of mind.
