Although my primary experience in caregiving is with children (20+ years of experience! ), I've also spent time caring for the elderly and terminal cancer patients with non-medical support needs. I can provide overnight assistance for individuals who are uncomfortable being alone at night, help with bedtime routines or early morning wake-up help before day time help arrives. Dinner clean up, light housekeeping, medication reminders, breakfast set up, etc. are all provided or I can be simply be there as an able-bodied person "just in case".
