About Nicole

Hi! My name is Nicole and I am currently studying Early Childhood/Special Education at Mercyhurst University. I am looking for additional experience to tutor students in Erie. Beyond having worked in a daycare for 5 years, I have experience working in two school settings: The first being an afternoon school program that runs Sept-May in Erie; this program includes homework help as well as full-length lesson plans and corresponding activities for children in after school. Next, I have worked the past two summers at St. John's Parkside which is a school in Buffalo, NY. There, I have also worked as a teacher's aide in a full-day classroom setting, working with children of various disabilities, ages, and cultures. Overall, I am enthralled with becoming the best educator I possibly can, and believe that I would thrive at any opportunity to work with students and apply the many skills I have learned through my experiences.
