About Nicole

I am a single mother, to an 18-year-old son, who is a freshman in college. Being his mother has been, bar far, the greatest gift I have ever been given. I was fortunate to have a career as a successful, self employed, kitchen designer while raising him. This gave me the flexibility to be a constant presence during his upbringing. Two years ago, I followed a lifelong dream of mine and was hired as a second grade teacher for a classroom of 18 students. This was a life changing experience for me as I discovered a natural ability to creatively teach and connect with all of my students. I was able to identify each of there individual needs from the intellectually gifted to those with processing issues and attention challenges. Being apart of and responsible for the developmental growth of these children gave me so much joy. I am currently exploring a different path in childcare. My parenting skills and teaching experience will be a great combination to assist a family in need.
