About Jenna

As this school year comes to an end, I will have been teaching for 5 years and have been caring for children for 10+ years. My first four years teaching, I taught fifth grade in Worcester.. This past year when I moved to Boston, I began teaching science for Boston Public Schools for grades preK-fourth. From a very young age, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher and help students find their full potential. My focus and philosophy as a teacher is child development and teaching the whole child. I focus on helping students grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Along with babysitting and teaching, I also coach soccer. While I lived in Worcester, I was the assistant coach for the Clark Women's Soccer Team for four years. This was the team I played on in college so it was great to be able to stay and help that community grow. Additionally, I am also a certified yoga instructor for children and youth ages 3-18.
