About Niara

Hi, I'm Niara! I'm an enthusiastic, organized, & empathetic caretaker hoping to support you and your kiddos in the transition back to classroom learning. In May 2020, I graduated with a B. A. in Sociology from Davidson College, so I'm uniquely qualified to relate the challenges of remote learning. Before college, my favorite subjects in school were English, history, and French. At Davidson, I took liberal arts courses from art history and acting to chemistry and user experience design. There, I worked as a one-on-one peer French tutor. I also lived and worked with rising 10-12th graders at Duke University's Summer Session for High School Students. Currently, I am a Program Coordinator for a non-profit college access organization in Montgomery County, MD. I love traveling, board games, trivia, and the NYT cooking app. I'm fully-vaccinated and double-boosted. I look forward to helping your family at ease with all things high school and college-related!
