About Naomi

My name is Naomi and I currently live in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. I have a car so I can travel to any reasonable location. I am posting to offer evening and weekend child and adult care service to families of children and young adults with special needs. I hope by doing so to allow their parents/guardians/caregivers valuable time to themselves to spend as they would like. I charge $25 per hour. It is very difficult for the families of these individuals to obtain trustworthy care to allow them to enjoy personal, private time and I hope to fill that need. I have a Master of Arts in Counseling: Art Therapy degree from Adler University. I began this area of work at a children's home in Chennai, India called Prema Vasam, which is home to youth with and without special needs. I then moved to Pennsylvania to work in an intentional community called, Camphill Village Kimberton Hills (hereafter, CVKH). I lived and worked alongside adults with special needs for two-and-a-half years
