About Elizabeth

Hi there! My name is Betsy and I've been living in Chicago for about 10 years now. I started babysitting for kiddos around the age of 14, and have been doing so on and off for about 15 years now! I have a bachelors degree in psychology/sociology, and a graduate degree in social work. My career history includes work at a crisis hotline for runaway and at-risk youth, taking calls from youth anywhere from 6 or 7 years old to adults. I have worked at a few different organizations in child welfare, with youth and families in the foster care system. I also worked for , a children's hospital, doing home visits and care coordination for "medically complex" children and their families. I currently work full-time as a school social worker, and am looking to continue to work with children, youth and families in a different capacity! I babysit a 4-month-old on a weekly basis currently, and pet sit all the time, too! I am available this summer for part or full time nannying!
