About Nanci

I am a retired teacher with many years of classroom experience teaching children with learning disabilities, multiple disabilities, and autism. I have tutored elementary students for the last 7 years weekly and also taught a 6 week summer program for remediation of reading and math skills. I am certified in Elementary and Special Education. I earned my undergraduate degree at Slippery Rock and my Master's Degree at. the University of Pittsburgh.. Teaching has been a lifelong passion for me. I currently care for my infant grandson a couple days a week. My daughter works a slightly different schedule at a hospital monthly so I may need a little flexibility in my tutoring schedule. I would describe myself as a nurturing, hardworking, conscientious person. I would love to help your child reach their potential in reading and or math. My highest level of interest is teaching reading or math K-4th grade.
