Hi! I started caring for young children when I was 18, I worked as a part time live in nanny for about a year where I did light housekeeping, cooked meals, drove her to and from swim practice, and bedtime. From there I moved to England for 6 months where I watched the neighborhood kids afterschool where I helped with homework and sometimes house sat for the families. When I moved back to the US I provided overnight and afterschool care for a few kids in my apartments but transitioned to pets over the last few years. I have two kids of my own now and occasionally provide care for my older child's stepsister. I work full time in a maximum barrier security biomedical research lab but am looking into transitioning back to childcare/pet care!
