I'm an exp Sub Art Teacher & Teaching Assistant K-5 in Penfield schools. I currently Nanny P/T for 4 families (ages 9mo-4yrs) & have 8 families I occasionally night babysit. I have 18+ years exp w/ newborn+. I live in Brighton & have three children of my own, ages 9, 14, and 18. I currently only have day availability Fridays 9-4pm, weeknights M/W/F & weekends. I treat each child like my own, with great care, responsibility, & caution to ensure their safety and happiness. I believe in gentle parenting & love nurturing them with extra cuddles as needed & helping them adjust with fun and silly activities. When weather permits, I enjoy keeping children happy & busy with outdoor walks, trips to playgrounds, visits to libraries, and scheduled activities. I am passionate about helping children reach milestones, fine motor-skills & speech to pre-school and kindergarten readiness. I am infant/child First Aid/CPR/AED certified. I do not smoke/vape. She is amazing and punctual. Looking for a caregiver for our little one was quite an enervating process. It is a breath of fresh air to meet someone like Monica who comes to work and is fully engaged with our little one, the entire time she is here. She does several activities with him and keeps him occupied. Our 18 month old cries when it is time for her to leave. He developed a bond with her right away. She is a gem.
