Hey there! My name is Misela and I love working with children! I have been a caring hand for seven families, along with working at the child development lab while I attended Berea College. I worked with multiple classes, ranging from newborns to 5yo. I love babies, and being able to watch them grow, learn, and comprehend everything around them! I know kids can be very time demanding and I'm more than happy to give them my full attention! I enjoy coming up with fun new craft ideas that can help expand creativity and a hunger for learning! I've been a full time nanny for 5 years and I have found so much joy in becoming a part of another family!! I am fully vaccinated and boosted and willing to work with any restrictions you may have due to the pandemic. I just recently had a child of my own on August 10th and I am so happy to have her! Misela has worked for my family full time for about 6 months. She takes care of our young daughter who was about 1 year old when she started. Misela is reliable, punctual, and flexible. She shows up on time and ready to jump right in every day, and she is communicative if anything comes up, which in our experience was rare. Our daughter took to Misela quickly and she gets really excited each day when she arrives. She is also resourceful when cobbling together a healthy meal our daughter will eat. Since COVID has shut down a lot of children's activities, Misela does a great job of keeping our daughter entertained and engaged in our small house. She follows our established nap/meal schedule closely and is responsive if we make any changes. She also helped transition our daughter from 2 naps a day to 1. Long story short, you won't regret hiring her! She is warm and loving with kids and very dependable! We regret having to give her up, but another family will be lucky to have her.
