About Miriam

I have a degree in Psychology from Yale with honors, and I am Montessori trained for ages 0-6. I have experience tutoring and teaching a wide variety of age groups, from 2 and 3-year-olds in a Montessori classroom, to elementary school students,. I've worked successfully with students both with and without special needs and those who are behind, at, and above grade level, and am passionate about taking on challenges. I enjoy working with students on their general K-6 subjects as well as high school general and AP subjects, particularly in the humanities and psychology. I'm most excited about English, literature, writing (creative, argumentative, and expository) and reading from pre-K through and past the college level, and can also tutor for the SAT, help with college essays, and help with study and homework skills at various ages. I look forward to working with some of you! :) I also have experience caring for infants and toddlers.
