About Milandra

The eldest of three siblings and 12 cousins, I've been a caregiver for most of my life. From camp counselor, to regular nanny jobs, to babysitting gigs for date night, I've done it all. I also had the immense privilege of being a stepmom for over 8 years, begining when my daughter was 18 months. I believe in the importance of communicating with children in ways that encourage their autonomy and shows respect for their thoughts and ideas. Children have big feelings and I'm skilled in holding space and talking through them in ways that makes them feel validated and safe to explore them in healthy ways. I love teaching, getting creative, and encouraging imaginative play, and am always happy to get outside and see the world through a child's eyes. Ultimately, children are a JOY and spending time with them is a special type of fulfilling. With me, you get more than adult supervision for your child; you get a mentor, a caregiver, a teacher, and a person who genuinely wants the best for them.
