About Mikayla

I worked at two vet offices (New Milford Animal Hospital & Aspetuck Animal Hospital) for a combined total of almost 6 years caring for boarding pets! Duties included feeding, exercising, and monitoring dogs, cats, and exotic pets, grooming them (nail trims, baths, ear and eye cleaning, blow drying), and assisting with veterinary appointments. I received basic first aid training for animals, and am confident and comfortable handling all different types and sizes of dogs, cats, horses, and even cattle. I also received American Animal Hospital Association FEAR FREE training and restraint. I studied at Nonnewaug High School and received experience caring for livestock animals (pigs, cows, horses, goats). Duties included feeding and watering them, assisting with medical procedures, and moving animals.
