About Mikayla

Hi all! My very first job was working at a nursing home (as a dietary aide) and I LOVED it. It was so wonderful to provide care and companionship to the residents there. I'm really passionate about providing companionship to the elderly. I think both parties have a lot to learn and gain from the other. My profile here is more for a companion role than a full caretaker role. I am happy to provide support for basic care needs and activities of daily living (like cooking, cleaning, making sure your loved one is taking their medications, helping with errands, etc.) However I am not a CNA and not looking to assist with bathing/toileting at this time. I would love to spend time engaging in fun activities, playing games, reading, working on a puzzle or hobby together - and of course getting some exercise in at whatever level they enjoy!
