Hello, my name is Michelle. I am an experienced child care provider. I received my education and worked as a pre-school teacher for years in China. When I moved to San Francisco, I took Child Development courses at CCSF and received 12 CE credits. After that, I worked 4 years in daycare centers and 8 years in private in-home child care up to this point. I am fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, and I can speak and understand basic English. My teaching skills include singing, dancing, drawing, painting and simple piano. I am very passionate about my job and love to help children develop their independence as well as interests and hobbies in sports, reading, math, and arts. In addition, I can help with light chores such as making baby food, bath time, laundry, etc. I am currently looking for a new opportunity. Michelle looked after both of our kids, now aged 4 and 2, from birth. She speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese and is the reason that both of our kids are fluent in Mandarin. I cannot say enough good things about Michelle. She has been an island of calm, dependable expertise in the hectic ocean that is new parenthood. Her patience is otherworldly. The house is clean with kids because of her. I would hire her again with no hesitation.
