About Michele

I like working with kids because they are surprising in the way they see the world, excited about new things, and our future. I started working with kids as the second eldest of 11 brothers and sisters. I babysat through my teenage years and studied at Covenant Life College in Haines, Alaska, before teaching in rural Alaska for 13 years. I went from the classroom to homeschooling my three children in 2003. Along with homeschooling, I taught in co-ops in Kalispell, Montana, from 2008 to 2021. Since then, I have worked as a bookkeeper and graduated my last student. Woot! Woot! In my spare time, I like to garden, quilt, and do about anything related to homesteading. One thing you should know about me is that I take the safety of the children in my care seriously, but I like to have fun with learning.
