My journey in childcare has taken me through various settings, including daycares and summer camps, where I have honed my skills in creating engaging and educational activities for little ones. I firmly believe in keeping children active and stimulated, steering away from excessive screen time, and instead, encouraging outdoor play, arts and crafts, and imaginative pretend play. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of being an extension of the parents' values and goals in raising confident, motivated, and kind-hearted children. My parenting style is a blend of authoritative and gentle techniques, emphasizing the importance of setting reasonable boundaries and clear expectations for behavior. I believe in using natural consequences whenever possible and creating a safe space for children to express and work through their feelings. I truly enjoy working with children and highly regard being allowed to play a small part in helping the parents to raise capable children.
