About Hi! I'm Melissa and I am a certified special education teacher for preschool aged children. I've been a certified teacher for 9 years, and wouldn't want to do anything else! Through my career I've noticed that once Birth to Three services are no longer available due to a child aging out, families are left still needing in-home support. Schools do a lot to support students, but in my experience there can be a lack of carry over into the home. Children are also different in their home environment. I love working with families and children and would love to provide special education services for families in their home! Modeling activities and techniques; assisting in making visuals to support non verbal children; and more! I look forward to working with you and your family!
