About Melanie

One thing you should know about me is I have experience working with all different types of children and teens ranging from kids suffering with autism, as well as kids with trauma and defiance disorder's. This has been through my schooling, internships, and volunteering over the past 10 years! I started working with kids when I was in high school by volunteering at a Pediatric Facility! I have always loved kids and I find that their positive worldview for the future as a great motivation of mine. I've never stopped tutoring or working with children since I started! In fact I plan to work with children in private practice now that I have graduated my masters program with an MSW. In my spare time, I like to go hiking with my friends, read, cook, and travel, and even play ps4. My skills include tutoring to a 12th grade level, my ability to keep up with high energy levels, as well as my problem-solving skills. In addition I am bilingual and speak French.
