About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya and I am looking to work with a family starting at the end of April/beginning of May! I am looking for a long-term position (12 months minimum) with hours ranging from 32-40 per week. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Developmental Psychology, May 21'. I have taught preschool for over a year and worked as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at the University of Minnesota Child Development Laboratory School. I have a background in American Sign Language and am First Aid and CPR certified . I have worked in various childcare settings throughout college, and have nannied for families nearing 7 years. I have experience working with children of all ages and abilities! I enjoy yoga, making jewelry, crafting using various mediums, and spending time in nature. My passion is to help children of all ages and backgrounds develop educationally, mentally, socially, and provide them with a positive experience and role model.
