About Matthew

Hi! My name is Matthew H. and I am a recent UC Berkeley Graduate! I recently graduated with 4 Bachelor's Degrees, including a B. A. in Psychology, B. A. in Molecular and Cell Biology (Neurobiology), B. A. in Integrative Human Biology and B. S. in Nutritional Sciences (Toxicology)! I also did a minor in Math and Science Education (CalTeach) while at Berkeley! My teaching experiences encompasses a wide array of age ranges. From my minor in Math and Science Education, I was placed in various field placements in local middle schools and high schools to observe teachers, help as an assistant, and teach lessons of my own pertaining to the curriculum. My minor was mainly focused on students in K-12 learning. I also worked for a private tutoring company for 1 year during the COVID-19 pandemic, teaching high school students and community college students with AP Chemistry, Geometry, Algebra and even ASVAB prep. I was also a TA for CHEM 1AL, the general chem lab class.
