I am currently finishing my 4th year as a 6th Grade Math & Science Teacher at Chester Charter Scholars Academy. I hold a Level 2 Teaching Certificate for Grades K-6 and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education for grades K-6. I have been teaching for 18 years and have worked in The Philadelphia School District with K-4 grade students, 1 year in the Wallingford/Swarthmore School District as a Building Substitute for grades K-5, and 11 years at Chester Community Charter School as a 5th grade teacher. My teaching and tutoring experience has always been in an K-6 elementary school setting, and throughout my career I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring children in all major subject areas (Math, Reading, Writing, Science & Social Studies). I hold up to date Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI background clearances which I'm mandated to renew every year. I grew up and live in Wallingford with my wife, 2 children and dog.
