About Mary Jo

Hello! My name is Mary Jo! Here is a quick summary of my experience working with children. I graduated from UWM (BFA in Acting/Theatre Major) December of 2018. During my theatre days I was given the opportunity to work at First Stage (a children's theatre/educational academy in Milwaukee). I was employed there for 3+ years and discovered my love working with not only kids but also with working in a teaching position. Through this I gained great experience with kids on a VERY wide spectrum. Anything from the ends of working one on one with a child, to a group as big as 30 kids, (I have also worked with an age range between 1-18 years old), to also working with kids on the spectrum (during HS I was apart of best buddies, a club dedicated to these students, also gained in depth experience through the training program at FS, Next Steps). After this chapter of my life I decided to go back to school for my masters in elementary education while simultaneously working full time as a nanny.
