I have a 25 year Graphic Design background and switched careers to Domestic Services working for Private Estates and high profile families/individuals, serving as their Household Manager and maintaining their homes, fine furnishings and art, overseeing/scheduling staff that includes housekeepers, chef, butlers, caretakers and all service contractors for general upkeep of the residence(s). This sometimes included on-site construction. The residences were kept in full readiness for principals arrival at any given time and this meant all food & beverage items were to be re-stocked and floral arrangements fresh at a moments notice. I have arranged and planned parties (catering and service) for guests of 4 to 130, and working in tandem with full-time chef, assisting with his/her needs and menu planning.
