About Marissa

My name is Marissa and I am a resident of the Twin Cities. I am currently a graduate student at the University of MN pursuing my masters degree in education. I have always had a passion for working with children, and have over 10 years of various experience. I have been a camp counselor, full-time nanny, and a secondary education teacher with the Peace Corps. I have three years of experience working in a formal classroom setting, and am comfortable helping elementary and middle-school aged children with school-related tasks and activities (reading, mathematics, science, social studies and health). I am looking to work for a family with active children that love to spend time outside and engage with their environment through play, art and music. With me, your children will receive exceptional care, and I am willing to help with additional household tasks if requested.
