About Marisa

Hello! I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Ashland, currently in a job transition and available for childcare services mid-Feb until they end of June. After that, I would be happy to continue care for occasional date nights or playdates. :) Before I became a therapist, I enjoyed working as a nanny for 5 families over a 10 year span, and have worked with girls and boys from infancy to 10 years old. In addition to housekeeping, running errands and maintaining routines, I can incorporate music, singing, nature and creativity into my childcare, as well as integrating emotional regulation and mindfulness skills from evidence-based lifespan development theories.
