I'm looking for a family whose values are in alignment with mine. I take a gentle parenting/ waldorf approach to nannying and appreciate working with families that allow me autonomy within in the family structure. I do ask for a retention contract if there is an extended period of time between negotiation and actual start date. I have 15+ years of child care experience as a nanny and swim lesson instructor- working with children from 6months -15 years old, as well as experience with special needs children and extensive experience as a travel nanny. I enjoy taking kids on outings/ spending as much time in nature when permitted, reading, dancing, arts and crafts and engaging them in with musical endeavors. I use this time to apply emotional, social, cognitive and behavior needs with milestones with each child. Nicole has been an instrumental part of our family. She was incredibly patient, flexible, and caring as our family went through many big transitions. She was a stable and comforting influence for our kids, but also for our whole family. She is very intentional with her words and actions. We have come to appreciate Nicole and her incredible diversity of talents so much. Although she will no longer be nannying for us, we hope to continue to be in each other's lives somehow.
