About Marie

I'd describe my personality as kind, loving, and patient. I'm an Air Force Veteran with a background in medical and business. I was a medic in the Air Force and a Clinical medical assistant for an orthopedic surgery practice. I have been trained in Rescue Services in the Air Force and know CPR as a first responder. My husband also served in the Army for 22 years as a Blackhawk pilot. We have 3 children. I love pets and would be comfortable around them. I like to read, spend time at my son's football games, volunteer with Lived Experiences (a non-profit in Oceanside that provides mobile laundry services for our unsheltered community members), and help with the neighborhood food pantry distribution events. My family and I also volunteer at The Agua Hedionda Lake Foundation. I do genuinely care and provide care with kindness and patience. I treat others like I would want my loved ones treated: with respect, kindness, integrity &compassion. I wear my heart on my sleeve.
