Nidia is an amazing caregiver for my mother who has advanced dementia. Nidia visits my mother at her memory care unit and has watched out for my mother’s needs with the nursing staff at the facility - just like a member of our family. She is very aware of my mothers needs, and as my mother is minimally verbal, it is because Nidia has taken the time to know her very well - picking up on her facial expressions and being very attuned to her nonverbal communication. She communicates with my siblings and I every time she visits, and gives us an update on mom, and how she is doing. She interacts with her and focuses on her physical needs, emotional, mental, and safety needs. Nidia makes my mom laugh and cares for her and respectfully interacts with her - she is very involved. The staff at the nursing facility have given me feedback that Nidia is a wonderful caregiver for my mom, in what they observe. I recommend her highly. She has done wonderfully with my mother, who is very difficult to care for due to her advanced dementia.
