About Maria

As I said, I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and know a good amount of French! I am currently majoring in Psychology and minoring in Education with the hope of eventually becoming a speech or occupational therapist for kids. During high school, I baby sat and tutored kids from ages 3-12 for 4 years. 3 summers ago I started working at a Day care and Preschool back home, where I worked everyday with kids from 3 months to 5 years old. Ever since I can remember I have loved working with kids and have always been passionate about helping kids grow in their own way. As I said, I wish to become a therapist which has led to me working with kids with special needs and have gained a bigger passion in helping kids develop and grow in their own way.
