Hello! I'm very excited for the opportunity to work with your family! Over the last three years I've been privileged to work with two families in a long term setting. In addition to hands on experience, I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I also have received training in post-partum newborn care as a part of the curriculum for my doula certification. My experience with children is mainly with newborns and toddlers. Under my care, your newborn will be adored and have all their needs met. Your toddler will be taken care of, encouraged to develop good habits, and given a safe environment to explore their creativity and imagination! Mariah is a dependable, hard working, caring, young woman. I have known Mariah for over 10 years and have grown through the years to observe her love for children, whether it's through working in children's theater, or babysitting. She takes the time not only to play, but to teach age appropriate activities. Mariah has a great sense of humor and knows how to bring laughter in every situation she faces. Being a special educator myself, Mariah is eager to learn and ask questions when their is something she doe not know and uses that knowledge through being creative with the arts. I highly recommend Mariah and intrust her with children as this will give her the continued experience for when she earns her degree in Early Childhood Development. Mariah is truly a fun, loving, and caring person, that is willing to work hard and use her opportunities to work with children for the betterment of furthering her career in teaching and nurturing children and a teacher one day.
