About Margaret

I have spent my entire life caring for children. I have 3 younger sisters who I spent most of my nights babysitting growing up. I babysat regularly starting at age 11 all the way through highschool. I studied child psychology and worked at a child development center when I went to college. I worked as the research assistant , who studied psychopathology specialized with children. I became an elementary school teacher after college and have worked with children of many different needs and backgrounds. I also speak Spanish. Important note: I no longer have summers off, so I am not available during the summer daytime any longer. I was gifted and talented teacher in a Public Schools for 5 years, and I have worked as a Gifted and Talented Coordinator / Instructional and Curriculum Specialist for almost 4 years for DPS. I would be interested in helping with gifted students as well during my available hours out of work.
