Hello my name is Mandy. I have worked with children ranging from the age of newborn- school age for the past 20 years. I was in various positions at a daycare in Ann Arbor Michigan for 11 years ending there as a lead preschool teacher. I moved out to California 10 years ago to take the position as lead nanny for a family with a set of twin down in LA. I then moved up to the Bay Area 7 years ago and have had multiple single family and nanny share positions. I have experience with CPR and First Aid, along with 50+ hours of classes and seminars dealing with child development. I have 38 ECE units and plan on adding to that. I after having my own pets ranging from horses to hamsters I can say that I am very comfortable with the fur babies. Educating the young is THE most rewarding career! Mandy was our babysitter starting when our daughter was 2mos. old to 8 mos. The only reason we ended our time with her is because we moved away. Mandy is amazing and our daughter loved her. She was happiest to see her in the morning. With Mandy she thrived! We had a high risk birth and Mandy was very good with staying on top of specific toys, playing, tummy time, time on sides etc. We wanted to do baby led weaning, and she taught her how to feed herself, and made healthy foods for her. Mandy is always attentive, great with keeping a schedule, and never on her phone. An artist herself, she was always making wonderful art with and for our daughter. I could not recommend Mandy more. She read, played, sang, did art work, and always got down on the floor with our daughter. Before hiring her, I called three references and they were all glowing! Now there is another one added to that group. She is amazing, and we cried when we told her about our move.
