About Maiya

I'd describe my personality as Hard-working, compassionate, attentive. I like caring for seniors because I always had elders around growing up. Many have helped me throughout so it's my turn to help. I enjoy listening to their stories and learning new things and life lessons. I started caring for seniors when I was 14 years old. My great grandparents were diagnosed with dementia. I was a live in help doing housecleaning, cooking, helping them navigate, bathing, dressing, medications and anything else they might have needed. Once I graduated high school, I went to college and achieved a phlebotomy and CNA certification. I have worked with seniors in hospital and live in facilities. In my spare time, I like to train my dogs, work on trucks, hang out with my grandparents, or go take a hike.
