About Maia

Hi, I'm Maia, and I was born and raised in San Francisco. I am offering part-time weekend child care work. I am comfortable working with children age one and up and have most experience in the one- to5-year-old age range. I am also very confident in my ability to work with multiple children. I grew up in a family childcare environment. My mom was a grade school teacher and began a preschool a few years before I was born, so I always helped out. The kids at the school always felt like family. In kindergarten, I began teaching art lessons to the students once a week. From there, my passion for teaching blossomed. I continued helping out until I officially began working after school, from middle school to high school, in our family preschool and daycare. This job enhanced my experience with infants and preschool age ranges as well as grade school and middle school (after-school and summer care).
