About Maggie

While I have not provided dog sitting or pet care in home before, I have grown up with several dogs in our household. From the time I was a baby up until now, there has never not been a dog in our house. My parents have had dogs varying from Shelties to Labradors to Golden Retrievers. I currently have a 3-year-old Cattle-Boxer mix named Charlie that I have had and taken care of myself since she was 2 months old. While most, if not all of my experience has been in caregiving and the elderly, I love animals and take pride in being patient and responsible. I am a former caregiver with several years of experience. I previously worked at Narrows Glen Retirement Home in Tacoma as a Certified Nursing Assistant for four years while getting my degree in social welfare at the University of Washington, Tacoma. I will be going back to school in January for my Masters in social work.
