About Magdalen

Hello! I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Developmental Psychology. I am passionate about quality and community centered child care. I have spent time as a mother's helper, nanny, assistant preschool teacher, elementary classroom teacher and child development research assistant. Additionally, I have cared for children ages 0-11 years, and I also have experience working with children who have a variety of different ability levels and learning needs. As a caregiver, I prioritize providing experiences that center play and exploration. I strive to inspire curiosity, compassion, and creativity in all the children I get to care for. I am willing to help out with light housekeeping, travel, as well as errands or other tasks. Life is busy, and parents deserve support! In my personal life, I enjoy creating and viewing art, I am an avid reader, and I also love to cook and bake.
