I have done three years of community service with Alternative Spring Break, one caring entirely for special needs kids and another mentoring and tutoring children in low-income areas. I have volunteered at Heartland's Child Development Lab caring for infant-aged children. I also have 3 years of experience with Cadets Helping Kids, including mentoring and tutoring children as an ROTC Cadet. I have taken basic nursing prerequisite courses as I am applying to accelerated nursing programs this Fall. I have had an internship in Germany working with Certified Nurse-Midwifes and assisted in deliveries, which furthered my interest in being a nurse. I love caring for kids and creating a fun yet responsible environment. I am in military training so I am very responsible in my scheduling and accountability, but I am also an energetic and fun-loving individual too!
