About Madeline

Hi Families! My name is Maddy and I am a full time Kindergarten Teacher working in Boone County. I am certified to teach Elementary K-5, IECE PreK-K (special education), as well as a Literacy K-12. I have a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education as well as a Masters in Reading Education both from Ohio University. I have extensive experience teaching reading and math foundational skills using Kentucky's Academic Standards. I have knowledge of appropriate practices including the Science of Reading, Orton Gillingham, and Heggerty. I am passionate about building foundational skills with your young learners and am confident you will see growth!
