About Mackenzie

I love working with children and have a strong belief that they deserve to be treated with compassion and respect. I've cared for several children of various ages and have a deep commitment to being a role model for my younger siblings and cousins as the oldest in my family. I'm a recent college graduate with a bachelors of science in psychology and specific interests in children, families, community, holistic health and wellbeing, connecting with nature, and overall prioritizing authentic pursuits, hobbies, and relationships rather than mere productivity. I enjoy engaging with children through their preferred interests and hobbies and making sure their physical, social, and emotional needs are being met in order to meet them at their level and encourage positive growth and development. I love pets and am comfortable providing different accommodations depending on need and circumstance! Especially for neurodivergent children or any other development/health conditions.
